The 40th National B Chess Championship will begin on Monday (August 25) at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room at 3 pm.
Rated players 2,100 and over, national woman, junior and sub-junior champions, selected players from Dhaka city, all districts, public universities, affiliated organisations and forces already have invited to participate in the meet, organised by Bangladesh Chess Federation.
The interested players have been asked to enroll their names with entry, registration fee, letter from their association/organisation and selection tournament results on or before August 23 (Saturday), 2014.
The event will be held in eleven round Swiss-League system and top nine players from National B will qualify in the National A.
GM Abdullah Al Rakib, GM Ziaur Rahman, GM Enamul Hossain, GM Niaz Murshed and GM Reefat Bin Sattar will directly take part in National A championship.
