The 42nd National B Chess Championship will begin on Thursday (Oct 20) at Bangladesh Chess Federation (BCF) hall room here.
The selected players from the city, several districts, public universities, forces, affiliated organisations of Bangladesh Chess Federation, national sub-junior, junior and women’s champion and rating 2100+ are eligible to participate in the event, organised by BCF.
All eligible participants are requested to enroll their names with respective organisation letter, entry and registration fees on or before Tuesday (Oct 18) at the BCF office room.
The event will be held an 11 round Swiss-League system and top nine players will qualify for the 42nd National B.
Five Grand masters of Bangladesh GM Mollah Abdullah Al Rakib, GM Enamul Hossain Razib, GM Niaz Murshed, GM Zaiur Rahman and GM Reefat Bin Sattar have been invited to take part in the National A Chess Championship to be held later stage.
