Sylhet Sixers captain Nasir Hossain and manager Hasibul Hossain has been warned for breaching Level 1 of the BCB Code of Conduct during their team’s Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2017 match against Dhaka Dynamites at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Nasir and Hasibul were found to have breached Article 2.1.1 of the BCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to ‘conduct that is contrary to the spirit of the game.’
Nasir and Hasibul were charged by on-field umpires Masudur Rahman Mukul and Riaz Uddin, third umpire Tanvir Ahmed and fourth umpire Aktaruzzaman for delaying the toss by six (06) minutes and for the failure to submit the team sheet properly.
After the match, Nasir and Hasibul admitted the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by Match Referee Debabrata Paul and, as such, there was no need for a formal hearing.
