Nasim urges UN to mount pressure on Myanmar

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim on Tuesday urged the United Nations (UN) to create pressure on Myanmar government to take Rohingyas back to their motherland Rakhine state.
“Create more pressure on Myanmar government so that they take the Rohingyas back to their own country within the shortest possible time,” he said.
Nasim said this while talking to UN Under-Secretary-General Pramilla Patten when the latter paid a courtesy call at secretariat here, said a press release.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given shelters to Rohingyas with her motherly affection on humanitarian ground. We are providing them with accommodation, food and medical supports.
