Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim on Wednesday urged all to stand by the flood affected people.
The minister made the call while addressing a discussion as chief guest at National Academy for Educational Management (NAEM) auditorium in the city.
The 149th Foundation Training Crouse organized the discussion marking the National Mourning Day with NAEM Director General Professor Hamidul Haque in the chair.
Nasim said, “We have to continue relief operation at our own initiatives in the flood affected areas and we should extend our hands of cooperation to them.”
“I have also given order to the director general of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) to send medical teams and medicines to the flood affected areas,” the minister said.
