Popular actress Zakia Bari Mamo and actor Ahsan Habib Nasim appeared together in a telefilm titled Nodi Bilash directed by Sumon Anwar.
The shooting of the telefilm has already been done recently. Nasim and Mamo were seen playing the characters of husband and wife in this telefilm. Besides, viewers’ choice actors Fazlur Rahman Babu and Munira Mithu have played two special roles in the telefilm.
Nodi Bilash is written by a new playwright named Masud Rana Sabuj, who secured the first position in Natok Rochona Bishoyok Kormoshala 2018 (workshop on drama writing) organised by Television Natyakar Sangha.
The story of the telefilm revolves around Dulu Sheikh, a boatman, who is a victim of river erosion. The river eroded away his house and all of his wealth, but still he keeps himself close to the river all the time.
While talking about acting in this telefilm Ahsan Habib Nasim told this correspondent, “Usually, a new playwright has to go through a lot struggles in the industry. It is very difficult for them to get a good director as well as they face uncertainty with their work. I really appreciate the initiative of Television Natyakar Sangha for giving them a platform. Although Masud Rana Sabuj is a new dramatist, he has done a good job. I really liked the way it turned out to be an amazing production.”
Mamo shared her feelings by this way, “Thanks to Channel i for the initiative for reaching out the audience with the telefilm which is written by a novice playwright. Sumon Anwar always makes all wonderful plays. I am sure that the making of Nodi Bilash will reflect his style as a brilliant TV playmaker. As my co-artiste not only Nasim Bhai acted outstandingly, but also Babu Bhai and Mithu Apa have played their respective roles wonderfully.”
It is mentioned that Nodi Bilash was aired on Channel i on October 12.
