UNB, Narsingdi :
Two people were killed and three others injured as a bus rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in front of BSCIC industrial area at Kararchar in Shibganj upazila on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Khokon Mia, 26, the auto-rickshaw driver and a resident of Sangita in the district town and Meherunnesa, 24 of Palashtoli village in Raipura upazila.
Highway police sources said, the accident took place at around 11 am when a Sylhet-bound bus from Dhaka hit a Narsingdi-bound CNG-run auto-rickshaw, leaving the duo dead on the spot and three others injured.
The injured were rushed to Narsingdi General Hospital.
