Premier Handball: Narinda Progoti Boys emerge champions

Narinda Progoti Boys Club emerged champions of the Cute Premier Handball League when they defeated Menjis Krira Chakra by 23-11 goals in the concluding match of the League held at the Shaheed Captain M Mansoor Ali National Handball Stadium on Monday.
Narinda Progoti Boys Club led the first half 23-11.
Narinda Progoti Boys Club became champions securing 24 points from eight matches while Prime Sporting Club finished runners-up bagging 21 points from as many matches.
Hardev Singh of Narinda Progoti Boys Club scored 13 goals and his teammate Shamser Singh netted 11 goals.
On the other hand, Rabiul of Menjis Krira Chakra scored eight goals and his colleague Imon netted five goals.
After the last match of the League, Azad Rahman Khokon of Progoti Boys Club retired from his playing life. He had been playing for Progoti Boys Club for six years before he retired from his playing career.
