Narail District team and Rajshahi District team registered wins in their respective matches of the Walton 3rd National Women’s Hockey Competition on Wednesday.
In the day’s second match, Narail District team blanked Rangpur district team by 18-0 goals at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Kimi Karmaker of Narail scored eight goals with a hat-trick and her teammate Mitu Khanom netted four goals and their teammates Sadia Khanom, Toslima Tamanna scored two goals each and Shefali Khanom netted one goal.
In the day’s second match, Rajshahi District team defeated Dhaka District team by 3-0 goals at the same venue.
Borsha Khatun Maria of Rajshahi scored two goals and her teammate Sharmin netted one goal.
Meanwhile, the match between Dinajpur District team and Patuakhali District team ended in a goalless draw at the same venue on the same day.
