Narail District team will face Kishoreganj District team in the opening match of the Walton 3rd National Women’s Hockey Competition at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium. The game starts at 4.15 pm.
Senior Additional Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn will inaugurate the meet as the chief guest while Adviser (Programme) of ATN Bangla Nawajesh Ali Khan will be with him as the special guest.
A total of nine teams splitting into three groups will participate in the hockey meet. They are: Narail District team, Rangpur District team, Kishoreganj District team, Dinajpur District team, Patuakhali District team, Jhenaidah District team, Dhaka District team, Rajshahi District team and Thakurgaon District team.
The champions of the hockey meet will be given Tk sixty thousand and a trophy while the runners-up will be awarded Tk forty thousand and a trophy.
The competition will come to an end on March 6.
