Narail District Sports Association emerged as the champions of the 1st Walton Cup Baseball Competition beating Dhaka Commerce College by 10-3 points in the final at the Paltan Maidan on Wednesday.
Narail District Sports Association, the champions of the competition were awarded Tk ten thousand and a trophy while Dhaka Commerce College, the runners-up of the meet got Tk five thousand and a trophy.
Besides, each participation teams were given Tk two thousand as participation money.
After the final match, Head of Sports & Welfare Division of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Senior Assistant Director of Walton Group Razibul Anam, Deputy-Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association Ashiqur Rahman Miku, AGM of Walton Group Mehrab Hossain Asif and Administrator of Bangabandhu National Stadium Md Yahia were with him as special guests.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association Aminul Islam Liton was present at the time.
