Narail District team emerged as the champions of the 2nd Walton National Women’s Rugby Competition defeating Kishoreganj District team by 5-0 points in the final at the Paltan Maidan on Tuesday.
After the final match, Secretary of Youth and Sports of Bangladesh Awami League Harunur Rashid distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest, while Operative Director (Head of Sports & Welfare Department) of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn was with him as the special guest.
AIG (Administration) of Bangladesh Police and Chairman of the Tournament Committee Rukfar Sultana Khanom, General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Union (BRU) Mousum Ali, Joint-Secretary of BRU Sayeed Ahmed, Joint-Secretary of BRU Md Mojibur Rahman and Secretary of the Tournament Committee Parvin Putul were present at the time.
