Nannu named Chief Selector of BCB

Former skipper of Bangladesh National Cricket team Minhazul Abedin Nannu has been named Chief Selector of BCB.
The BCB confirmed about the appointment of Nannu on Wednesday.
Former captain of Bangladesh National Cricket team Habibul Bashar Sumon and Sazzad Ahmed Shipon were the other two members of the Selection Committee of BCB.
BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon disclosed the decisions through a press conference on Wednesday. The BCB boss also informed that the board has not extended the contract with Faruque Ahmed, who recently expressed his unwillingness to continue work as the chief selector under the new two-tier system.
Former cricketer of Bangladesh National Cricket team Atahar Ali Khan has been appointed Chief Selector of Bangladesh National Women’s Cricket team.
Earlier, Faruque Ahmed resigned from the post of chief selector of BCB as BCB decided to form a two-tire selection panel.
Faruque Ahmed is now staying in USA. He submitted his resignation letter on Tuesday last. The BCB accepted his resignation and then its has appointed Minhazul Abedin Nannu in the vacant post.
