Entertainment Report :
A play-back song titled Nona Jol of Tauquir Ahmed-directed movie Halda, which was released in December 2017, became popular among the music-lovers. Pintu Ghosh and Sanjida Mahmood Nandita lent their vocals for the song. After a break of two years, they again lent their voices for a play-back song titled Ki Tolpar for Chayanika Chowdhury’s movie Biswa Sundori. Kabir Bokul wrote lyrics of the song while Pintu Ghosh as usual composed its music.
Pintu informed that shooting of the song has already been done. Now he is in India. He is expected to return to Dhaka today. Then he will take part in a stage show.
From India Pintu Ghosh told this correspondent over mobile phone yesterday, “Ki Tolpar is a sad melody song. Visualisation of the song became appropriate regarding the song. Nandita again lent her voice with me in the play-back. She renders song well. I believe this song will also become popular like Nona Jol. Now it is time to see how the viewers and music-lovers accept the song.”
Nandita shared her feelings by this way, “It is a common trend to exceed popularity of a new song from previous one. I have that kind of expectation with new play-back song Ki Tolpar because it was composed by Pintuda who earlier composed Nona Jol with same passion. I am very much optimistic about the song.”
Meanwhile, Nandita is passing busy times with stage shows now. Last day of this year she will perform at Army Golf Garden. On the other hand, Pintu Ghosh first gave his voice for play-back song in Mostafa Sarwar Farooki’s movie Television. His rendered song Kanamachhi got popularity among all.
