Sanjid Mahmud Nandita is a listeners’ choice popular singer of present time. She has already established her position in the field of music by virtue of her rendering style. Her melodious voice always impresses the audience. For this reason, she has become popular to all. Nandita will render seven songs in Enamul Karim Nirjhar’s Kansuta project. She has already completed recording of three songs. Written and composed by Enamul Karim Nirjhar, Nandita has completed recording of songs titled Nijer Moddhye thaka, Adhkhana Jiboner and Mimangsha Golper. Nandita mentioned that within this week she will finish recording of rest four songs.
While talking about the songs Nandita told this correspondent, “All the songs became nice. As a singer, I am really satisfied. I have always intention to render good songs. Later listeners will give their judgment.”
She also said that on Eid day, Nandita will render song at Desh TV’s live show Sur Ar Gaan from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and on seventh day of Eid, she will be also seen to perform on Maasranga TV’s live show Kingbodontir Gaan. In these two programmes, she will render songs to pay tribute to legendary singer late Shahnaz Rahmatullah.
While talking in this regard Nandita said, “Besides rendering songs of Shahnaz Rahmatullah, I will also render some non-traditional songs of Betar in these two programmes. Her rendered songs are learning to me. After Eid day I will be also seen on BTV’s a programme where Ferdousi Rahman’s a song Tumi Jodi Bolei Dite will be rendered by me. This song was rendered by Ferdousi Rahman in Amir Hossain-directed movie Je Agune Puri which was released in 1971. Gazi Mazharul Anwar wrote lyrics of the song while Khondokar Nurul Alam composed its music. This song was used in lip of actress Kobori in the film.”
