One of the popular singers of present generation, Nazmun Munira Nancy became mother of a baby girl at a private hospital in the capital on Wednesday. Both mother and daughter remain well now.
The news was stated in a press release sent by Dr Ashis Kumar Chakraborty, Managing Director of Universal Medical College Hospital in Dhaka, yesterday. He said that Nancy gave birth to a baby girl through surgery at 3:00pm on June 29. The singer was under the supervision of the Head of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department of the hospital, Brig Gen (retd) Prof Anjuman Ara Begum. Nancy’s husband, Mohsin Mehedi is delighted with the news of his daughter’s arrival in the world.
It is mentioned that Nancy tied the nuptial knot with Mohsin Mehedi in September last year. Mohsin is working as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of an audio production company named Anupam Music.
In 2020, Nancy lent her voice to a song titled Emon Ekta Mon, written by Mohsin and that is how their love story began. The singer already has two daughters, Rodela and Naila, from her marriage to businessman Abu Saeed in 2006 and Nazimuzzaman Zaid in 2013.
