Past District Governor of lions Clubs International and Independent Director of Standard Bank Limited, Lion Najmul Huq Chaudhury, MJF, has been elected as the Audit Committee Chairman of the bank in its 338th Board Meeting. Mr. Chaudhury is the Resident Director of M/S.SKM Jute Mills Limited and former Managing Director & CEO of Joint Venture Companies M/S. Van Ommeren Tank Terminal (BD) Limited and International Oil Mills Limited, said a press release. A successful company executive and humanitarian Chaudhury was born in a muslim family in North-Kattali in Chattogram. He completed his B.com degree from St. Xaviers College of Calcutta and completed M. Com. & LLB under Calcutta University.
