A lecture titled “Najenda-Aziz Trust Lecture-2018” was held at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban auditorium of Dhaka University (DU).
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman on Monday attended the event as the chief guest, said a DU press release on Tuesday. Former Chairman of Bangladesh National Human Rights Commission and Professor of DU Law Department Dr. Mizanur Rahman delivered the lecture on “Human Rights, Human Welfare and Bangladesh Perspective” at the event. Presided over by DU Treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin the function was also addressed by DU Arts Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Abu Md. Delwar Hossain as special guest. Prof. Dr. Galib Ahsan Khan and Prof. Dr. A K M Harunar Rashid also spoke on the occasion.
DU VC Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman paid tributes to the memory of Najenda Akter and Azizur Rahman Khan.
