Naim started his acting career by a TV play titled Ek Nijhum Aronnyo against Lux star Shanu in 2007 under the direction of Rumana Rashid Ishita. Later he acted in Kawshik Shankar Das’ play Bondhuttwo Bhalobasha Ittyadi. But he came into limelight acting in Shihab Shahin’s serial Eit Kath-er Khancha and Ishtiaq Ahmed Rumel’s Old vs New. For the last seven years he has been acting with dedication. As a result, he has already established acceptance to the directors and viewers.
On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha, Naim’s 10 plays will go on air in different satellite channels. He acted against 10 actresses in these plays. He acted against Ishana under Sanjay Barua’s direction, against Nadia under Naznin Hasan Chumki’s direction, against Mehazabien in Wahid Anam’s play, against Shera Nachiye Hena in Russell Md Shikdar’s play, against Urmila under Arif A Ahnaf’s direction, against Samia in Rajibul Islam Rajib’s play, against Aparna in Shetu Arif’s play, against Jui Karim under BU Shuvo’s direction, against Hasin in Pallab Biswas’ play, against Jenny in Ashiq’s play and against an actress under Masud Hasan Ujjal’s play.
While talking about his performance Naim told this correspondent, “I am very much satisfied about my position in media now. I am really grateful to the directors, producers, my colleagues and journalists. Due to everybody’s teamwork I have become a Naim in media. I am giving special thanks to Ishita Apu.”
It may be mentioned that Naim’s first acted movie was Khizir Hayat’s Jaago. But as single hero his acted first movie was Nabil Ashraf’s Rongdhonu where Anny Khan and Anchol acted against him. This movie will go to the Censor Board soon, Naim said.
