Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has urged member countries of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to extend their cooperation on education, science, technology and research.
The minister made the call at a session of the 43rd OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan on Tuesday, an official release said today.
A two-member Bangladeshi delegation led by Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid attended the two-day council.
The education minister is expected to return home tomorrow.
