Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Wednesday left Dhaka to join the 12th general conference of Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
The two-day ISESCO conference will be held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, from November 26 to 27.
The minister is leading the Bangladesh delegation. Other members of the delegation are – Additional Secretary to the Education Ministry Chowdhury Mufad Ahmed and Bangladesh UNESCO National Commission Secretary M Manzur Hossain.
The education minister will return home on November 29.
