Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid left here on Wednesday for Canada to attend the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) board of governors meeting in Vancouver beginning from Thursday.
The two-day COL board meeting will end today.
Nahid is attending the meeting of the Board of Governors of COL as the representative of Asia and the Pacific region, said an official release.
The Commonwealth of Learning (COL) is an intergovernmental organisation of the Commonwealth of Nations headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, founded in 1987.
Bangladesh was elected a member of the board as representative of the region in April last.
