Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Sunday condoled the death of seven school children who yesterday met their tragic death as their picnic bus plunged into a pond at Jhaoutola on Mohespur Road under Chougachha Upazila of Jessore.
In a message of condolence, the minister expressed profound shock at the death of the children and prayed for eternal peace of their departed souls.
The minister conveyed his deep sympathy to their parents, teachers, friends and family members.
He also talked to the concerned officials involved in the treatment process of the injured and asked to ensure proper treatment facilities of the injured.
