Nafisa Tabassum from Bangladesh clinched bronze medal in 10 metre Air Rifle Women’s Shooting event of ISSF Grand Prix which was held in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia on Thursday.
Laura from Romania bagged the gold medal in this event scoring 49 points, while Khairunnesa from Indonesia earned silver medal in this event scoring 45.5 points. Nafisa scored 37 points.
Shakil Ahmed from Bangladesh moved to the semi-final of the Men’s Air Pistol Event. He will fight for gold today.
Meanwhile, Shovon Chowdhury and Rabbi Hasan Munna from Bangladesh had been eliminated from the semi-finals in the men’s 10 metre Air Rifle event.
