Bangladesh cricketers dominated in the AKS Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20 Cricket so far. Bangladesh batsmen and bowlers took the top spots in batting and bowling.
Shahriar Nafees of Barisal Bulls top-scored with 184. The left-handed batsman had three half centuries with a good average of 61.33. He played four matches.
Ace batsman Mushfiur Rahim, the captain of Barisal Bulls scored 174 runs. He played four matches and remained unbeaten in three matches. He had also three half centuries. Thus, his average is 174.
Mehedi Maruf of Dhaka Dynamites scored 170 runs. He played four matches and hit two half centuries. His average is 56.66.
Sabbir Rahman of Rajshahi Kings scored 157 runs playing four matches. He hit the maiden century in 4th edition of Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20 Cricket. His average is 52.33.
Captain of Chittagong Vikings Tamim Iqbal scored 143 runs playing four matches. He hit two half centuries and his average is 35.75.
Pacer Shafiul Islam of Khulna Titans is the highest wicket taker of 4th Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20 Cricket so far. He captured eight wickets playing four matches.
Mohammad Shahid of Dhaka Dynamites also claimed eight wickets. But he conceded more runs that Shafiul Islam.
Three foreign recruits bagged seven wickets each. Shaheed Afridi of Rangpur Riderrs, Mohammad Nabi of Chittagong Vikings and Junaid Khan of Khulna Titans took the third, fourth and fifth spot respectively according to bowling average.
Abul Hasan Raju of Rajshahi Kings is the only bowler, who grabbed five wickets in a match. He plucked five wickets at the cost of 28 runs against Khulna Titans.
Dhaka Dynamites scored the highest total in the 4th edition of Bangladesh Premier League so far. Dhaka piled up 194 for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs against Comilla Victorians.
On the other hand, Khulna Titans scored the lowest total in the AKS Bangladesh Premier League. They were bundled out for a paltry total of 44 against Rangpur Riders.
