Former player of Bangladesh Cricket team Nafees Iqbal is now at home isolation. He was infected with Covid-19 from 10 days ago.
Tamim Iqbal, younger brother of Nafees Iqbal, has given a handsome amount of money to the local cricket coaches of Chattogram. Nefees Iqbal supervised the activities at the port city. Nafees Iqbal stood beside the victims of coronavirus. Suddenly he was attacked by the coronevirus and Nafees has been suffering from coronavirus for 10 days.
A source related to his family said, “Nafees Iqbal has been suffering from fever for 10 days. Then he was under novel Covid-19 test and the physician found that he was positive of corona test.”
A member of his family said, ” Nafees Iqbal has not felt any big problem. He has taken the treatment from physician at his home in Chattogram. Nafees is now on the way to heal from coronavirus.”
Meanwhile, Nafees Iqbal confirmed a local website that he is becoming okay and doesn’t feel any problem.
Nafees Iqbal said, “I feel good and has been recovering well. I urge you all to pray for me so that I can recover from illness and overcome Covid-19 fully.”
Nafees Iqbal played 11 Tests and 16 ODIs for Bangladesh in between 2004-2006.
His most defining knock came against a full strength Zimbabwe side in 2005, as he scored a stubborn 121 to help Bangladesh draw the second Test and thereby secure their first over Test series victory.
