In the beginning of first month of New Year, popular TV actress, model and dance artiste Nadia Ahmed performed as a model
in a new TV commercial. Directed by Amitabh Reza, Nadia took part in the shooting of a TVC of hair care solution of a foreign brand. In India, noted Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty performed as model in the TVC of the hair care solution. To market this product in Bangladesh, the company selected Nadia as
model. Nadia is very much excited in this regard. Meanwhile, produced by BTV, Nadia acted in 10-episode special serial titled Ekti Kobitar Golpo, scripted by Pantho Shahriar. Nadia played the role of Kobita in the special serial. The actress is satisfied to work in this social awareness creating serial. While talking about acting in special serial and performing as model in TVC, Nadia said, “I performed in a TVC of that product, which was also performed by Shilpa Shetty as model.
I am really delighted to select me as a model of that product in our country. It was really a likeable matter for me to work under Amitabh Reza Bhai’s direction. He works cordially.
In 10-episode serial, I played the role of Kobita who works for the empowerment of women and females’ rights. She works to stop child marriage and she also works to make women self-dependent. In the meantime, in her life, there are also love and affair. Basically tale of one Kobita is the story of our general life. This type of story is not presented in dramas of present time. So, I enjoyed a lot working in the special serial. Within very soon, Ekti Kobitar Golpo and new TVC will go on air soon.”
Nadia also said that she casted her vote in Actors’ Equity’s election on January 28. From January 29, she took part in shooting of Deepto TV’s ongoing serial, Bokulpur Returns in Manikganj under Kaiser Ahmed’s direction. Within short time, Nadia will also take part in shooting of two new drama serials which will be directed by Syed Shakil and Mojibul Haque Khokon.
