Ahmed Rohan Rubel and Hanif Khan have been working with popular actor and director Zahid Hasan for eleven and seven years respectively as his assistant. With Zahid Hasan’s inspiration for the first time they jointly made a drama serial titled Don.
Zahid Hasan, Nadia Ahmed and Urmila Srabonti Kar worked together in the serial for the first time. Zahid Hasan as usual acted in the title role. He is also working as advisory director of the serial.
Nadia and Urmila acted in roles of Anu and Sadia respectively in the serial.
While talking about acting in the serial Don Zahid Hasan told this correspondent, “Rubel and Hanif are like my intimate younger brothers. They have been working with me as my assistants for many days. I have given them the opportunity to work in the serial because I believe if I give them the scope one day they will independently work. As a result, I feel good. What will be happened later I don’t know but I strongly believe what they can do in the long run? Nadia is known to me from her childhood. She took part in many dance programmes with my wife Mou. In fact, she is hailed from same family. She is cute and also good actress. On the other hand, Urmila has matured herself in acting. She has improved herself by virtue of her acting skill and good behavior.”
Nadia shared her feelings by this way, “In the early age, I understood Zahid Hasan and his contemporary actors as star in TV play. Now I can act with that Zahid Hasan. It is a great achievement for me. It is really a great luck for me. To work with him, I have learned many things and I am still learning from him.”
Urmila said, “While working with Zahid Hasan Bhai he gives many suggestions. He co-operates me like my guardians. I want to work with him in many plays and serials.”
Manosh Paul is the main playwright of the serial Don which is being aired on Maasranga TV every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
