Reunion of ex-cadets of Mirzapur Cadet College will be held from January 23 to 25 at the Cadet College in Tangail. Mirzapur Ex-Cadets Association (MECA) is organising the reunion programme. It will be MECA’s 13th arrangement of reunion. Popular TV actress, model and dance artiste Nadia Ahmed will perform in the programme. She will present a long-time performance on second day of the reunion event. Farhana Chowdhury Baby and Farhana Khan Tanna will give direction of the performance. Nadia confirmed the matter yesterday.
After 10 years, Nadia will perform in any programme of Cadet College. While talking in this regard Nadia told this correspondent, “I performed in Cumilla Cadet College 10 years ago. After 10 years, I will perform in Mirzapur Cadet College. War of Independence of Bangladesh will be presented in my performance. Any arrangement of Cadet College will become something special. I believe this reunion will also become special one.” Nadia also informed that at the end of last year she started shooting of Litu’s drama serial Mon Dorja in Australia. Now she has been engaged with acting in several numbers of serials.
Besides Nadia’s performance, popular singer James and band group Souls will also perform in the reunion programme. DJ Rahat will also perform on that day. On January 25, Tasnim Anika, Rajotto and band group Miles will perform, while band group Artcell and DJ Sonika will perform on the opening day’s event. Mirzapur Cadet College was established on November 23 in 1963, said the organisers.
