Shilpi Sarkar Apu is known to all as an actress. But sometimes she writes play. On the occasion of coming Durga Puja, Apu has written story of a play titled Parbaty. Popular face of the small screen Nabila Binte Islam acted in the title role of the play. Bornonath has given its direction. Noresh Bhuiyan and Shilpi Sarkar Apu also acted in other roles in the play. According to Nabila, for the first time she worked under Bornotha’s direction.
While talking about acting in role of Parbaty Nabila told this correspondent, “It is a story of struggling life of Parbaty. As I played the role of Parbaty, so I have tried my level best to portray the role properly. I give thanks to Shilpi Didi to write such a nice story. I always enjoy acting in such type of story based work. There is scope to act in challenging role. I am very much optimistic about this play.”
Nabila also informed that the play will be telecasted on ETV in Durga Puja. Now Nabila-starred drama serial Ghore Bairey, directed by Nazrul Islam Raju, and serial Asmani, directed by Adibashi Mizan, are being aired on NTV and Nagorik TV respectively.
Once Nabila gave more times to anchoring but now she is passing time with acting. She is now hosting only Maasranga TV’s a show titled Rupkotha. She has already finished shooting of two faction plays directed by Imraul Rafat and Anjan Aich.
