One internee physician of University of Science & Technology, Chittagong (USTC) died of falling from a 9-storied building in city on Thursday evening.
The incident occured at Nasirabad Housing Society under Panchalaish thana on Thursday .
The deceased was identified as Nahian Bin Ashraf(22). Sub-Inspector of Panchalaish thana Rakib Khan told that the reasons for falling from the roof top yet to be ascertained but come to know from the owner of the building, four friends including the deceased were gossiping on the roof top in the evening hours. But thana police not yet received any complaint from any quarter regarding the death but police is trying to detect the reasons of death.
It is learnt from family sources that the deceased passed MBBS from USTC and now working as internee doctor there. Father of the deceased Dr. Ashraf Ali is the head of Deptt of Surgery Deptt of Chittagong Medial College . CMCH police camp sources said, young physician Nahian was brought to CMC Hospital with critical condition where the attending physicians declared himn dead. The body sent to morgue for autopsy, sources said.
