An alleged accused named Ishaque Miah(50) was died under the police custody in Kotwali thana in city yesterday morning. Dead body of the alleged accused was found in the latrine of the thana hajat, a reliable sources said. Ishaue Miah was arrested on alleged charge of robbery. Mentiobnable that Ishaque Miah was an security employee of Jahid Enterprise in city who hails from Sikalbaha village under Patiya upazila and son of one Jalal Ahmed.
Police sources said Manager of the Jahid enterprise Jakir Khan lodged a stealing case accusing the security guard Ishaque before the police for alleged robbery of cash money breaking the cash box on May 28 last.
Police rounded up the security men following the case filed by the Jahid enterprise. Police sources said arrested Ishaque alongwith another accused of same case Omar Faruk was kept in the thana custody on Friday night .
In the morning yesterday , police did not find Ishaque in the custody cell and asked another accused Omar about him and after searching the victim was found in the bath room hanging inside with ventilation rod . Police recovered the body and sent to morgue for autopsy, sources said.
