A mystery shrouds among people whether SP Babul Akter is in job or has resigned from the police force after the killing of his wife Mahmuda Khanam Mitu in Chittagong in June.
Sine the murder of his wife, Babul Akter has been abstaining from his office duty. But the officials of Home Ministry and Police Headquarters have declined to make any comment in this regard.
Even Babul Akter himself also refused to make
decade ago. Speaking on condition that he not be named for security reasons, he declined to name the band. He also provided a 2008 photo where Zubaidur is seen toasting with three other members of the band. He said Zubaidur was raised by his grandparents after his parents had been killed in a road traffic accident. According to police, Zubaidur’s father was Bajlur Rahim and mother Fauzia Yasmin. The member of Zubaidur’s band did not say where the missing youth had studied.
Police provided his passport number as: ‘E 1047719’ and address: House No. 80, Road 9/A, Dhanmondi.
Visiting the house, bdnews24.com Chief Crimes Correspondent Liton Haider said the residents there told him no-one going by the name Zubaidur lived there.
