A youth died in drawing in the Foy’s lake on Sunday.
The victim was identified as Obaidur Rahman(25) .
The family of the victim claims that Obaidur Rahman was killed by the miscreants and thrown in the water of foy’s lake in city. Police recovered the body from No.3 Jheel of Foy’s Lake under Akbar Shah thana area on Sunday at about 2 pm.
The victim was an employee of a garments factory at AK Khan area , family sources said. Counter reports over the death is being circulated in the area, police sources said. One group is claiming that he was died of love affairs with a local housewife who jumped into the lake water fearing the chase of the husband of the woman. And the family of the victim claimed that following the old enmity with the neigbouring dwellers, he was beaten mercilessly by the hired miscreants who was thrown into the lake .
