A primary school teacher named Subarna Barua(35) died mysteriously in Raozan upazila on thursday .
Husband of the victim Chandan tried to criminate the body of the victim hurriedly but police recovered the body quickly being informed by the locals. Husband Chandan Barua was rounded up by police immediately. Mentionable that Subarna Barua is a Assistant teacherof CUET govt primary school andher husband Chandan Barua is the teacher of Pahartali Jagatpur Govt Primary school . Incharge of Guzra police camp under Raozan thana SI Mohsin confirmed the death of the school teacher. Police sources said Subarna was married with Chandan Barua in 2002 and are residing in a rental house beside the Pahartali Ayesha Community centre .
Both of them hail from Raozan upazila. After arrest of husband Chandan informed the police that his wife commits suicide by hanging with ceiling fan inside the room but the reasons for death yet tobe ascertained by police.
Suspecting the involvement in death, husband Chandan was arrested by police. The body of the victim sent to morgue for autopsy, sources said.
One killed in road mishap: A person was killed and two others were injured in a road accident in front of Bander thana early Saturday. The deceased was identified as M Sagar, 18, hailed from Patuakhali. The two injured were identified as Parvin, 24 and Nibaran, 30. They both, hailed from EPZ area in the city. Nayek Abul Bashir of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Police outpost said, they were travelling by a Tempo. While their tempo arrived near Bander Police Station, then a covered van hit their tempo from back side at around 1:00 am.
