MyanmarAir Force Commander-In-Chief calls on BAF Chief

General Khin Aung Myint, Commander-In-Chief of Mayanmar Air Force called on Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar BBP, ndc, acsc at Air Headquarters on Monday.
During the call on, they exchanged greetings and spent some time together with PSOs and senior BAF officers of Air Headquarters. They also discussed issues of bilateral interests and expressed hope to continue mutual cooperation to strengthen the existing relationship between Bangladesh and Myanmar Armed Forces.
On arrival at Air Headquarters, the Mayanmar Air Force chief was presented a guard of honour by a BAF Contingent. He inspected the guard and took salute. Later, he planted a sapling on Air Headquarters premises.
Earlier in the morning, he visited Shikha Anirban at Dhaka Cantonment and placed floral wreath to pay homage to the memory of the members of the armed force martyred during the Liberation War in 1971.
During his stay in Bangladesh, Mayanmar Air Force chief will visit different defence and civil installations including Bangabhaban, Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Office, Army Headquarters, Naval Headquarters, Armed Forces Division, Defence Service Command and Staff College, National Defence College, BAF Base Bir Sreshtho Matiur Rahman, BAF Museum and Hiron Point.
He will also visit different Flying Squadron, 214 Maintenance and Overhauling Unit of BAF Base Bangabandhu and witnessed different static display.
It is to be mentioned, the Mayanmar Air Force chief arrived in Dhaka yesterday on an official visit to Bangladesh. He will leave Dhaka on 11 November.
