Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel detained a Myanmar citizen from Tumbru frontier under Naikhangchhari Upazila of the district on Sunday morning.
The detainee is- Ong Thing, 29.
BGB Cox’s Bazaar Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Saif told banglanews, “Recently a separatist party named 969 was formed to face racial clash and the detainee was the president of Tumpru-Buchidong unit of the party.”
