MV Harbour yet to leave Ctg Port

Feeder vessel MV Harbour-1 of Nipa Paribahan under Indo-Bangla Coastal Feeder service could not leave Chittagong Port on Thursday for onward destination to Krishnapattam Port of Chennai , India lack of empty containers.
Port sources said the container vessel of Nipa Paribahan scheduled to leave Chittagong on Thursday but consequent holidays for last 3 days, the desired numbers of empty containers yet to be booked by the shippers and it was rescheduled for embarkation on Sunday next. Mentionable that Ports & Shipping Minister Md. Shahjahan Khan formally inaugurated the coastal feeder service between Bangladesh & India on Tuesday last in a colourful ceremony at NCT-1 yard .
Sources said Harbour-1 vessel has capacity of carrying 170 containers as well as bulk cargo which was built in West Marine shipyard of chittagong. Nipa Paribahan is owned by Nure Alam Chowdhury MP of Madaripur, sources said.
