The muster-roll employees of Rajshahi University on Monday staged a strike in front of administrative building demanding their permanent job.
They also brought out a silent procession from RU martyred intellectuals’ monument around 11 am and after parading the campus, they gathered in front of Syed Nazrul Islam administrative building for about half an hour where Al-Amin, Azibar, Parvin spoke among the employees.
Following their demands, the employees today (Tuesday) will also hold a press conference.
The muster-roll employees have been conducting their strike since January 25 for demanding their job placement.
