‘Wonder Boy’ Mustafizur Rahman is totally fit. Bangladesh National Cricket team will play two Test matches, three One Day International matches and two Twenty20 International matches against their counterpart Sri Lanka. Bangladesh team will leave the city for Sri Lanka on February 27.
The left-arm pacer got injury in the when he played for Sussex in County Cricket Championship. He underwent surgery in his shoulder.
He played in the ODI matches and T20 I matches against New Zealand but the team management did not take any risk to included in the Test squad against New Zealand recently.
Mustafiz was also ruled out against India in the lone Test match.
Later, He took part in the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) for Prime Bank South Zone. He claimed four wickets in two matches.
Chief Selector of BCB Minhajul Abadin Nannu said to a local website on Wednesday, ” Mustafiz had got his rhythm in BCL. I hope he will play in Test matches against Sri Lanka. So, it is confirmed that he will be included in the Test squad. But, it is totally depend on Mustafiz, if he wants to play.”
