India sought pacer Mustafizur Rahman instead of Tista Barrage agreement. Minister for Information Hasanul Haque Inu took part in the 122nd episode of BBC Bangla Sanglap and hinted that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi told to Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina over telephone that India would implement the Tista Barrage Agreement if Bangladesh would give pacer Mustafizur Rahman, according to a report published in a Bengali Daily on Sunday last.
