Mustafizur delivered 20 balls to concede 31 runs when Surrey chased down winning target of 154 for 4 in 18.2 overs, replying Sussex’s 153/6 in 20 overs. In his last two deliveries, Mustafizur conceded 8 runs in the dead end, involving a six, fired by Chris Morris to draw the winning line for Surrey. Dominic Sibley scored 40 off 31 balls, including three boundaries and one six, while opener Jason Roy added 36 off 25 balls. Ben Foakes and Chris Morris stayed in the 5th wicket for unbeaten 38 in 4.1 overs that carried the team to winning figure of 154/4 in 18.2 overs from 116/4 in 14.1 overs. Foakes and Morris added 22 and 20 runs respectively. Jofra Archer took two wickets for 39 in 4 overs. Conceding 18 runs each, Chris Jordan and Danny Briggs took one wicket apiece. Earlier, Craig Cachopa stayed for top-scoring 45 off 34 balls featuring seven boundaries, for Sussex after the side was sent in to bat first.Opener Chris Nash scored 39 off 34 balls, with three boundaries and one six, while Matt Machan added 21 runs.
