Music, being a family
tradition and culture, artiste Anwar-ul-Huq’s
legacy is bright. This has contributed to his present position as a popular artiste of Bangladesh. He has been acquainted with music from the childhood. The formal beginning of his learning was from his maternal grandfather artiste Arif Hosain. And afterwards he had the opportunity of learning classical music from Ustad Syed Zakir Hosain and this continued for a long time.
Anwar-ul-Huq participated in the special programmes of children
juvenile on BTV including popular programme Agnibina and earned praises. For two decades, he prepared himself presenting songs and gradually established himself as an artiste of Rabindra and Nazrul Sangeet.
