Noted Tagore artistes enthralled the audience by rendering songs at a musical evening organised by Bangladesh Rabindra Sangeet Shilpi Sangsad (BRSSS) held at the auditorium of Music and Dance Centre of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capital’s Segunbagicha area recently.
The musical soiree featured solo and chorus songs of Rabindranath Tagore on love, nature, devotion and others.
Dr Farhad Hossain, President of BRSSS, delivered the welcome speech while some distinguished guests including Khandakar Mahbub Hossain, eminent lawyer of Bangladesh Supreme Court and Saju Hosein, Chairperson of The New Nation, were also present on the occasion.
Dr Farhad Hossain, Mahbubur Rahman Manju, Bornali Biswas, Nusrat Binte Nur, Swapon Dutta, Hasi Biswas, Roquaiya Hasina Neely, Purabi Biswas, Mezbaul Azam Manju, Arifur Rahman Timun, Md Sadek, Rita Majumder, Sarwar Hossain Babu, Milon Dev, Badrunnesa Dalia, among others, performed in the programme. n NN Photo
