I always love her personality,” legendary singer of the Subcontinent Runa Laila said this while talking about popular singer Tanjina Ruma. Runa Laila is favourite singer of Ruma. During
childhood to till date, Ruma rendered Runa Laila’s popular song Istishan-er Railgarita in many stage shows. Now Runa’s there songs Majhi tumi majh gange nau baiya jao, Janigo furabe raat and Shesh corona shurute khela attract her. Raja Kasheff composed music and its arrangement for Ruma’s song Andhar Soriye, which lyrics were written by Kabir Bokul. Its lyrical version was released 10 months ago on a YouTube channel. To keep in mind the viewers’ choice, recently music video of the song has been made by Shahed Sharif. Today in the evening music video of the song will be released on YouTube channel.
While talking about releasing music video of her song Andhar Soriye, Tanjina Ruma said, “I have liked lyrics and tunes of the song. After releasing its lyrical version, I got huge response from the listeners. For this reason, I am going to release music video of the song today. I hope everybody will enjoy the video.”
Tanjina Ruma got primary learning in music from Ustad Sadhon Chandra Barman. Later, she received lessons from Ustad Ful Mohammad, Nilufar Yasmin, Shipra Basu of Kolkata and Anil Kumar Saha. She has lent her voice for more than 650 play-back songs till now. In 2003, she first rendered play-back song for movie Oikyo Jote. She lastly rendered for movie Hrid Majhare Rakhibo. In 2001, her debut solo album Bondhu Tumi Kothai was released. Later, she released several numbers of albums.
