Wicketkeeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim broke into a celebration after blasting 72 off 35 balls to help Tigers pull off a memorable win against host Sri Lanka in Nidahas Trophy T20 on Saturday.
The 30-year-old cricketer could not control his emotions after hitting the winning run on the fourth ball of the final over towards midwicket. He let out a loud scream and broke into a celebratory snake-style dance popularly known as ‘Nagin Dance’.
Immediately after the video was posted on social media has gone viral on the Internet.
That was the moment of the match from the Bangladesh players after Mushfiqur had played stunning knock to help his team chase down 215, a record chase for them.
The Tigers had their back against the wall when Sri Lanka set a massive target of 215 before them.
However, openers Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das gave Bangladesh a rousing start adding 74 in only six overs. Despite the blitz of two openers, Bangladesh still needed 115 runs from 57 balls when Rahim walked out to bat.
