Wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim took part at the informal practice session at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground in Colombo on Thursday. He was very serious at the practice session.
Marking the ensuing third and final ODI, players of Bangladesh Cricket team participated at the informal practice session. Though senior players like Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah Riyad did not take part at the practice but serious Mushfiqur Rahim arrived at the ground at 9.30 am.
Mushfiq first batted in the net and then practiced wicket keeping wearing keeping gloves.
Mustafizur Rahman and Soumya Sarkar, who played in the outgoing two ODI matches also came at the ground for practice purpose.
Besides, Imrul Kayes, Rubel Hossain, Subashis Roy, Sanzamul Islam, Shuvagata Hom, Nurul Hasan Sohan arrived at the ground to take part at the practice session.
Bangladesh have a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.
Bangladesh won the first match by 90 runs against Sri Lanka in the first ODI on March 25.
The second ODI match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka was abandoned due to rain on March 28.
The Tigers want to win the third ODI match to confirm their series win.
On the other hand, the hosts’ target is to win the final ODI to equalize the series.
The third ODI will be held at the same venue on April 1. The match begins at 10.00 am.
