Termination of 34 workers from Barisal shoe factory protested

Barisal Correspondent :Agitated workers demonstrated in front of export-oriented Fortune Shoe Factory at BSCIC Estate in Barisal on Monday noon protesting dismissal of 34 workers from their job.The workers alleged that they were terminated for demanding their arrear two months salaries and three months overtime. The cutting section of the factory was closed over six hours due this agitation.Authority however claimed that the workers willingly resigned from their job and normal production of the factory resumed within few hours.
