Mushfiqur Rahim will continue his captaincy. He will lead the Bangladesh National Cricket team (Test) against India National Cricket team in the lone Test match scheduled to be held at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah from June 10 to June 14.
President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nazmul Hassan Papon said, “We don’t think to rule out Mushfiqur Rahim from his post. We earned all the successes in Test Cricket under captaincy of Mushfiqur Rahim. We don’t anxious about his captaincy. He is the main batsman of our side. He also performs well as a wicketkeeper. So, we are not interested now to give anybody captaincy instead of him.”
He said, “Mushfiqur Rahim will lead the Bangladesh team against India team in the upcoming only Test match.”
