A court of Chittagong convicted siblings for alleged killing of a son of one Freedom Fighter in 2005. Court convicted siblings Karim Liton and Mofizul Islam ,both are cloth traders of Satkania with life imprisonment.
Chittagong Public Safety Tribunal Judge. Syeda Hosne Ara announced this verdict yesterday. Court soruces said Liton is still absconding . Court acquitted Azadul Islam and an employee of their shop Abul Kalam from the charge of murder. Court sources said the victim (son of the FF Mahmudur Rahman) Hafez Didarul Alam was killed in the cloth shop of the siblings at Kerani Hat of Satkaniaupazila on November 1, 2005.
Later police submits charge sheet in court against these accused on June 2 , 2009 and after depositions of 24 witnesses, court declared this judgment yesterday .
